Storybooks and Wellness w/ Jen Hernandez

In this Spring Break class, students will create their own softcover storybooks!
Students will learn about the process of making a storybook and creating each step of the way, including inventing new characters, developing stories using classic story structures, practicing book layouts, and binding their finished books. Inspiration for story-making will come from favorite picture books, group games, art challenges, and a daily Asana practice (the physical practice of Yoga), led by local educator and artist, Jen Hernandez! At the end of the week, students will have a storybook they will have created, ready to add to their shelves and share with others! $200 for 5 days of class, scholarships available!
