Your donations make it possible for the arts to transform lives and keep creativity alive and accessible to more people.
Through your generous gifts, The Arts Center is able to:
  • Provide arts experiences to children and youth they would not otherwise receive.
  • Offer classes, camps, workshops and 2nd Saturday Art Days which support daily creative connections for our well-being.
  • Produce inspiring arts exhibition projects in our galleries and engaging education events admission FREE for everyone in our community.
  • Give scholarship opportunities to young people through our Young Artists Education program.
  • Create opportunities for emerging artists to gain confidence to show and sell their work.

In addition to the amazing things your donation provides the community:
  • Your generous donation of $35 or more gives you all the benefits of membership at The Arts Center.
  • Donors of $100+ receive a membership card with NARM notation indicating participation in the North American Reciprocal Museums Association (NARM), with free admission to over 1,000 reciprocal museums in the United States.
  • Your gift is tax deductible! The Arts Center is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. The Arts Center’s Tax ID #93-6027995.
  • A gift to The Arts Center followed by a matching gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust allows you to claim an Oregon Cultural Tax Credit. The Oregon Cultural Trust partners with over 1,000 cultural non-profit organizations throughout Oregon.
Other ways to donate:

Ensure that your favorite arts program or project continues for many years to come. Contributions to our Endowment Fund, or provisions made during your regular Estate Planning might be a tax benefit to you now, as well as help secure funding for The Arts Center into the future. Make the arts a part of your legacy by remembering The Arts Center in your will or trust.

  • Donate Stock and IRAs
  • Your transfer of ownership of appreciated securities or stock to The Arts Center qualifies for a tax deduction based on full market value, and you may avoid the capital gains tax.
  • If you are at least 70½ years of age, you can make a tax-free charitable contribution directly from your IRA each year and count it toward your required minimum distribution (RMD). Your tax advisor can let you know if this is a benefit for you.
