Heather Andrews creates nature-inspired work rooted in science, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the overlooked beauty of the natural world.

All my life, I have been fascinated by nature and its all-encompassing beauty. I feel most at peace outdoors, surrounded by clean air, earthy scents, and the incredible diversity of life that has evolved over time to populate this planet.

As an entomologist, I have a particular appreciation for insects. They are beautiful organisms that come in many shapes and forms, exhibiting a wide range of fascinating adaptations for survival. Their complexity can be both unusual and wonderfully captivating.

I love creating artwork that reflects this fascination with nature and science, while maintaining a playful, whimsical spirit. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to take a closer look at the plants, insects, and animals around them—and to discover the beauty and importance of these often overlooked parts of our world.
