Featured Artist: August 2026 Maddie MacGregor

Maddie MacGregor is an artist and writer based in the heart of the Willamette Valley. She works primarily in acrylic on canvas, while also exploring watercolor and mixed media. Rich color, expressive brushwork, and playful storytelling are hallmarks of her work, creating paintings that celebrate the wonder of animals, nature, and everyday moments.
The selection of Maddie’s work currently featured in The Arts Center ArtShop highlights her whimsical approach to painting. Whether portraying beloved pets, wildlife, or imaginative scenes, her artwork reflects a sense of curiosity and joy while capturing the individuality of each subject. In select pieces, she incorporates gold lacquer as a luminous accent, adding depth and warmth to her compositions.
Beyond her artistic practice, Maddie is passionate about supporting animal welfare and donates a portion of proceeds from her shelter animal paintings to animal rescue organizations.
