The Albany Civic Theater:

“Love, Loss and What I Wore”

Opens: May 12, 2023

Call for Art

The Albany Civic Theater is hosting a Call to Artists for their upcoming production “Love, Loss and What I Wore”. The production runs May 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, and 20, 2023. The play is described as ‘A play of interactive monologues, Love, Loss, and What I Wore covers a lot of territory linked by the common thread of what was worn at key moments in women’s lives. There’s the unfortunate prom dress, the evils of fitting rooms, the inability to find anything in your messy purse, searching for a bridal gown, and the trauma of bra shopping for the first time. The stories are all deeply personal, yet oddly enough, universal.’

The Albany Civic Theater invites you to submit your original art that thematically fits the play’s theme. Artwork should be 2D and ready to hang on the wall. The wall space is limited to the 15ft. wall in the theater lobby. For more information on the play please visit: https://albanycivic.org/shows/love-loss/
