Monroe has an exciting upcoming new event and is looking for vendors! The First Annual Monroe BBQ & Logging Festival will kick off on Friday, September 29 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with live music, beer, spirits, and food from local vendors and restaurants.

The following day, on Saturday, September 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., is the BBQ Competition with barbeque from some of the finest BBQ Competitors in the area. BBQ tastings will be served hot off the smokers on Saturday as well. Cash prizes will be awarded at the BBQ Competition.

In addition to the BBQ, this event features artisans & crafters, an antique log truck cruise, more great entertainment, kids and family fun activities, plus tasty food and beverages!
