POSTPONED to, September 26, 2020, 1-3 pm

Join us outside of The Arts Center for an indigo tie-dye workshop.

Indigo has been used to dye fabric for centuries. It’s one of the oldest dyes.

Bring a pre-tied or banded handkerchief in a natural fiber for dyeing (100% cotton, linen, or silk) or use a new one supplied by The Arts Center. Indigo Dye vats will be available, along with ziplock bags for bringing your pieces home to rinse. (Rinsing and Washing Instructions will be provided.)

An instructional video will be posted prior to class with various techniques used for tie-dying from various cultures around the world, and a worksheet will also be available at The Arts Center showing the different techniques.
