See the excellent works from the 2023 Artist Accelerator Exhibition featuring resident Scott Moss in the Corrine Woodman Gallery this spring!
Moss creates Japanese-inspired circle paintings entitled Concordia, meaning harmony in Latin. Each painting takes 22 minutes: 20 minutes of meditation and 2 minutes of painting. They visually express this statement from Lao Tzu, “I have only three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion”. Moss’ practice allows a greater number of people to be able to afford original artwork.
This exhibit is particularly exciting because it connects with TAC’s two-location exhibit, Evolution of Practice; celebrating 5 years of the program with former residents sharing their current work. The Artist Accelerator is a professional development program for creatives seeking to build their art practice with a strong foundation in creative business.
