Enjoy a free hand-building small sculpture workshop with foam clay and found materials. Participants also have the option to transform their finished sculpture into a wearable pin. Explore craft materials such as beads, shells, rocks, etc. No prior experience necessary, just come and enjoy making your own small sculpture.

About the Artist

Adam Springer (b. 1988, San Jose, CA) is a mixed-media artist who grew up in Northern California’s North Bay, where craft culture, thrift stores, and garage sales played a formative role in shaping his visual language. He received his BFA from California College of the Arts in 2015.

About RIVER Residency

Rooted in the values of artist vitality, engagement, and renewal, the RIVER Residencies celebrate artists as catalysts for creative expression, collaboration, and community well-being. The RIVER program supports artists through annual residency opportunities designed for artists to immerse themselves in their practice, explore new directions, and share their creative process with the community.
