About the Board of Directors

The Arts Center’s Board of Directors is a diverse group that governs the organization’s mission. The board strives to shape a just and equitable arts culture for the Arts Center and the communities we serve. The board is divided into three committees: Internal Operations, Governance, and External Operations. Each committee works to ensure that the Arts Center’s mission is consistent, funded, and serves its constituents.

The Board supports the work of The Arts Center and provides mission-based leadership and strategic governance. The day-to-day operations are led by the Executive Director (ED), and the ED/Board relationship is a partnership. The appropriate involvement of the Board is both critical and expected.

The application process to serve as a volunteer board member at this dynamic and vital organization is open! Applications are currently open for terms beginning July 1, 2025.
