About the Exhibition
With a surrealistic slant, Paintings from the Suburbs, by California artist Ron Walker, depicts emotional, psychological and intellectual reactions to the environment in which he lives. He seeks to make sense of seemingly incongruent thoughts, and ultimately ties them to the physical world. His style and sense of humor is evident in the repetitive imagery he chooses; a tongue and cheek commentary on the American way of life.
