About the Call
Artists are invited to submit to The Arts Center’s NEW annual art auction! This is an exhibition and auction of works to support The Arts Center. The exhibition will be mounted at the Corvallis Museum and the auction will be online.
Deadline to submit work via the Submission Form is September 12, 2025 at 11:45 pm PST.
Submission Details
- Artists may submit up to two (2) works for the auction.
- Each submission must be on a separate submission form.
- We will only accept artwork 24” x 24” x 24″ or smaller.
- We invite artists to consider the theme, “Monster Ball” in their work, but it is not required.
- Due to space limitations, not all submissions may be accepted.
- Artwork from living artists will be given priority.
- The Arts Center reserves the right to decline any work submitted for the auction for reasons including, but not limited to, work that is delivered not ready for exhibition, work deemed inappropriate by the planning committee, or work that does not meet all the submission process requirements.
- All accepted artwork MUST be delivered to The Arts Center, 700 SW Madison Avenue, between October 1 and October 10, 2025, during regular open hours – No Exceptions!
- All accepted artwork must be delivered ready to hang (with a taut wire or center hook for 2D) or display free-standing(3D). Please, no submissions over 25 pounds.
- Artwork must include Title, Artist, Medium, and Dimension clearly marked on the back of the piece.
- All accepted artwork will be available for auction bidding online starting October 16 through 9:30 pm, October 25, 2025.
- Exhibit Opening Celebration: Thursday, October 16, 2025, 5:00 – 7:00 pm at The Corvallis Museum as part of the Corvallis Art Walk. Free and open to the public.
- SpecTACular: A Monster Ball – Saturday, October 25, 2025, 6:00 – 10:00 pm at The Corvallis Museum. Tickets required.
- Unsold artwork MUST be picked up from The Arts Center between October 28 – November 1, 2025 during regular open hours – No exceptions! Due to lack of storage, we are not accepting unsold work as a donation to TAC.
Artists who donate 100% of the auction proceeds to TAC will be offered:
- Two tickets to the event (not transferable, the artist must be the ticket holder and must RSVP that they will attend)
- Work will be listed as a Featured Work in the online auction and will include a link to the artist’s website in the description (if applicable)
Artists who donate 50% of the auction proceeds to TAC will be offered:
- One ticket to the event (not transferable, the artist must be the ticket holder and must RSVP that they will attend)
- 50% of the final sale price of the work
