About the ArtShop

The Arts Center ArtShop offers locally handcrafted treasures and gifts spanning across all mediums including: ceramics, glass, wood, screen prints, letterpress, and more. The ArtShop showcases the work of artists living in Linn and Benton counties.

Featured Artist: June 2026 Rhoda Fleischman

Rhoda Fleischman is a ceramic artist and painter whose creative practice is rooted in lifelong curiosity, exploration, and making by hand.

From an early age, Rhoda was drawn to clay, creating small pots as a child and leaving them in the sun to bake while imagining the possibilities of becoming a potter. Today, she continues exploring the many forms and expressions clay can take while also embracing painting as an important part of her artistic practice.

Describing painting as “magic conjuring up images seemingly from the air,” Rhoda’s work reflects a deep sense of wonder, experimentation, and personal storytelling. Whether working in clay or paint, her artwork carries warmth, imagination, and a genuine appreciation for the creative process.
