Teaching Arts Experiences for Children, Adults & Seniors. Holly has 25 years experience helping children and adults explore their individual creativity. For five years she provided arts services in health care settings through the ArtsCare program while it was a The Arts Center program. She continues to enjoy working with seniors and youth served by The Arts Center outreach.
Holly’s interest in art and crafts is lifelong, influenced by both the seashore and mountains of California and Oregon.
The fine texture of porcelain and the fluid quality of soda glazing has kept her creating in clay for 16 years. She is still enchanted with the magic in the process. Studies in art, teaching, and graphic arts at Oregon colleges gave her the foundation to get where she wants to go with materials and design. Textile arts and basket making first got her creating in her early life, and she her interests with those media have continued to this day.
