SUMMARY:Resting My Bones - Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:Join artist Steve Ehret at The Arts Center for the opening reception on Resting My Bones. Ehret will be putting the finishing touches on his mural\, and answering questions related to the exhibition. \nResting My Bones is an exhibition in which Ohio artist Steve Ehret works through intimate struggles with death\, separation and fatherhood. In his paintings\, Ehret magnifies the beauty of the mundane through imagined landscapes inspired by the industrial midwest. He presents creatures\, personified emotions\, who distract and impeach his personal growth\, while continually embracing the humor\, beauty and magic found in everyday life. \n  \nResting My Bones is on view in TAC’s Main Gallery March 20 – May 3\, 2025. Normal business hours are Tuesday – Saturday\, 12 – 5 PM.
