August 21 – September 22, 2018

Before the school year starts, we celebrate the creativity of youth with a selection of artwork made by summer art campers, on display in the Corrine Woodman Gallery.

Each summer young artists have the opportunity to investigate, learn and create in our summer arts camps. They discover new techniques, new materials and make new friends. Each camp has a theme such as science & technology, puppets, dance, theater and circus, art to change the world, rainbows, animation or  superheroes. These varied subjects are integrated with art making, movement and exploration.

The important elements of each art camps is the process of investigation and creation. The show will evidence of curious minds at work and creative juices flowing. It is sometimes messy, and may not always be finished by adult standards, but it is at all times interesting and refreshing to see.
