Kusra Kapuler has taught art at Breitenbush Hot Springs, Jackson Street Youth Services, Oregon Country Fair, and on buses, trains, planes and in parks. Kapuler interned with The Arts Center for the Globetrotters Children’s Camp in 2011. She has done photography and work for Elemental Play in Eugene, OR, an organization focused on bringing clay to kids and families.
Kapuler’s interest is empowering others to find free expression and healing through art.
Kapuler has been an artist her whole life, beginning with mudpie sculptures and watercolors. Branching into pottery and photography, later she went to Oregon State University for a BFA in Sculpture and Painting, and Minored in Psychology. In her art, she explores the interaction between human emotions, thoughts and states with the natural world.
