ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
For May Mental Health Awareness Month, The Arts Center shares artworks by artists of EASA (Early Assessment & Support Alliance), a program of Benton County Mental Health Department.
EASA is an innovative program for young people who have recently begun experiencing unusual thoughts and behaviours or have started hearing or seeing things that others don’t.
The program is designed as a transitional program, with the goal of providing the education and resources the person needs to be successful in the long-term.
To learn more about EASA, see their website.
Assertive Community Treatment, ACT, is a team of dedicated clinicians from multiple disciplines, who come together with the goal to connect those in our community to needed supports. We provide outreach to hospitals, jails, homeless camps, homes, businesses, and other clinics to connect with individuals who have Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. While the state goal is to reduce overall Emergency Department visits and inpatient stays, we also have made it a goal to provide services within our community to make Benton County a more connected and thriving community.
For more information regarding ACT, or how to refer/contact your local team, please go to https://oceact.org.
