Victoria Wills been inspiring students from preschool to young adult in schools and outreach facilities for over twenty years. Trained as an experiential educator and drawing from degrees in Environmental Biology and Dance, and background in science, musical theater and visual arts, Victoria motivates students of all ages and diverse learning styles to find creative success while striving to meet the curricular needs of classroom teachers.
In addition to learning to master the project theme, students gain experience in both independent and collaborative problem solving, and methods of project planning from start to finish. Examples of recent residencies include, creating claymation videos to explore and demonstrate accompanying microbiology lessons, working in fiber arts creating woven fabric and batik designs, dramatizing traditional folktales for bi-lingual theater including theater skills, creating sets and making costumes, making shadow puppets, marionettes, stick puppets and puppet theaters to explore curriculum themes as students interview completed puppets.
