Jeff Hess is a visual artist living in Corvallis OR. Hess works in an array of mediums generally oscillating between complex, mind numbing projects, and free flowing intuitive projects.
“In a large sense my focus is to offer something new to whatever I’m working on. The ’newness’ may be my own learning or developing of a skill but with maturation I try to present something new to the field overall as well.”
Hess curated a public art installation project called “Window on Art” in the prominent Footwise: The Birkenstock Store, in downtown Corvallis, and he is one of the main organizers of the monthly Third Thursday Corvallis Arts Walk (CAW).
Hess has partnered with The Arts Center on a number of projects and says he appreciates its role as a community hub for the arts.
