‘Portals’—Winter Show & Silent Auction 2011

The Arts Center presents the third annual, theme-based exhibit during the holiday season. Around 80 artists will be represented in the 2011 exhibit, each creating work based on this year's theme: PORTALS.

The Winter Show & Silent Auction will take place during a time of year when we reflect on the past, present, and future, as well as our place in the world. We hope this theme evokes the atmosphere of this transitional time of year, and has potential to represent the unique character of the Willamette Valley – a place vibrant with a mix of nature, spirituality, creativity, and technology.

Show Calendar:

Nov. 25, Fri: Silent Auction begins at 12:00pm, Opening Reception begins at 5:30pm.
(This is the day after Thanksgiving!)
Wed, Dec 7, Noon - 1pm: Brown Bag talk. Artists Randall Milstein, Chris Neely, Chi Meredith, Barbara Markello, and Jim Noel will talk about their work.
Dec. 17, Sat: Silent Auction ends at 6:30 PM! End of Auction party, 5-7pm.
Winners can choose to pay for & take their piece home that evening, or leave it for others to enjoy until the end of the exhibit on Dec 24.
Dec. 17 – 24: Remaining items remain for sale at stated retail price.
Dec. 25 – Jan. 1: The Arts Center CLOSED
Jan. 2 – 6, 2012: Pick up of remaining items won / return of unsold items
